New paper: dahlias, disease, and nutrients

We started studying dahlias in 2019, in what we thought would be a straightforward study - figuring out optimal nitrogen rates for our state’s most popular cut flower, the ‘Cafe au Lait’ dahlia. Now we know better - these crops are complex and disease is a critical part of plant management that affects every aspect of production. We continue to study resource management for field dahlia production and collaborate on virus research, now a large area of focus at USU. Here is the open-access paper on our nutrient and virus findings.
